December was studded with the very best kinds of things. A really fun 'parents' dinner out with mine and T's at Michael's Pastaria (yum!), a seriously fun Crane's Mill Christmas Party where T and I danced the entire night, various tree decorating, LOTS of cookie eating, my company party, and then a really great Christmas.
We kind of nailed it this year by splitting our time on Christmas eve between the Rag's & the Car's. We had an awesome time at both places. Then, Christmas morning, we went to church and had the most indulgent day in, just the two of us. We got smoked salmon, made bellinis, Cheddar Bay Biscuits and watched movies and opened presents.... oh and played something like 2 hours of Scattagories. The cherry on the sundae was an evening walk in our hood with a fruit punch sky.
We made it down to Scotch Plains for a really fun family dinner at The Stage House Tavern, saw the new beautiful home of some friends and more that I'm sure I'm forgetting. All I know was that it was a really indulging month filled with great times, family, friends and food. :)

Best Holiday Cocktail: TIE between Silk Soy Eggnog + Light rum. And.... "Cinnamon Latte": .75oz. Fireball Whisky, .5 oz. coffee liquor, .25oz. Irish cream. Chill and strain ingredients into a shot glass and enjoy.
Best Tea: Celestial Seasons Cinnamon Apple Spice Herbal Tea
Best New TV Show: Bob's Burgers
